# Pay prizes

> How admins pay winners, drop wallets, and get leftover prize back.

This page is for **group admins** after a contest ends.

## When the timer ends

The bot posts that the contest ended and shows a **Pay the winners** button (if you chose on-chain pay).

You have **72 hours** to tap that button.

<Steps>
  <Step title="Check /leaders">
    Confirm the list looks right. Drop any wallet that should not win.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Disqualify if needed">
    In the group:

    ```
    /disq WALLET_ADDRESS
    ```

    Use the full address. You can do this during the contest and during the pay window.
  </Step>

  <Step title="Tap Pay the winners">
    Prizes go to the wallets that still pass the rules (including **hold**, if that was on).
  </Step>
</Steps>

<Warning>
  After 72 hours, group admins can no longer tap Pay. Contact [@crmoonboy](https://t.me/crmoonboy) with the group name and what happened. Do not try to “fix” it by starting a second contest for the same prize.
</Warning>

## Manual mode

If you chose **Manual**, the bot does **not** send coins. It posts the eligible list. You pay however you agreed with your community.

## Leftover prize

Unused prize is returned to the **address that funded** the contest.

That is why you must send from a wallet you control — not from an exchange you cannot withdraw back to easily, if you need the refund.

## If something looks wrong

The bot may pause auto-pay and tell the group that the team is looking at it.

Your prize stays in the contest wallet until it is paid or returned. For a fast follow-up, admins can message [@crmoonboy](https://t.me/crmoonboy).

<Note>
  Do not retry payouts from random chats. One admin tap on **Pay the winners** is enough.
